At Turtle Bread you will find unusual and extraordinary wedding cakes, exquisitely decorated and with flavors such as Triple Chocolate, Blackberry Mousse, and Carrot, flavors that you cannot find elsewhere.
We are hoping to begin a new tradition with beautiful wedding cakes that are as pleasing to the palette as they are to eye.
The most exciting part of the many decision for a wedding cake for many brides is the flavors of their cakes. The Turtle Bread Company is proud to offer our customers a variety of cakes made with only the finest ingredients. All our cakes are made from scratch, using sweet butter (shortening is never used), fresh whole cream, European chocolates, and fresh fruits.
The price of your wedding cake is determined by the number and size of the cakes, the type of cake decoration (basic, rolled fondant), the type of tiering, the amount of additional decorations (gold leaf, etc.), and delivery requirements. Cake Decoration Styles BASIC-artfully decorated with frosting ROLLED FONDANT-this is a rolled-out cake covering that give the cake a beautifully smooth, slightly polished finish and gentle rounded edges.

Adding Fresh Fruit Fruit: fresh or sugared, can also be added to your cake to give it an especially dramatic presentation. This can range from a few bunches of sugared grapes to a cornucopia different fruits. The cost for this type of decoration is determined by the size of your cake and the amount of fruit used.

You may want to consider supplementing your wedding cake with our "everyday" 7-inch or 10-inch cakes. These cakes are unadorned, but nonetheless very elegant.

If you need to supplement you wedding cake for very large numbers of guests, or if you would like to offer your guests an alternative cake flavor, you may want to consider our sheet cakes. Sheet cakes provide an attractive and practical way of adding additional servings. They are assembled with three layers of cake and two layers of filling.

When choosing the size of your wedding cake, you have many factors to consider. One common question is whether or not to save the top tier for your first anniversary.
From our experience, some people still carry on this tradition. Wrapped tightly, and without a lot of thawing and refreezing, the tradition can be carried on successfully.
At the time of delivery, we can supply your caterer with a special box for the top tier, along with a chart with slicing instructions for the entire cake. You can choose the size and quantity of cakes in your wedding cake depending on the number of servings and the type of presentation you are looking for.
Another factor you will consider when designing your wedding cake is how you would like the cake to be tiered-would you like it stacked, separated, or both. You can choose how your cake is stacked or separated depending on the type of presentation you are looking for.
Basic staking-placing the cakes directly on top of one another-is a popular option. If you are looking for a taller presentation, we can separate each layer with pillars. You can also have a combined presentation by stacking some layers and separating others.
If you want a particularly grand cake, but do not have large amounts of guests to serve, we can add one or two "fake cakes" (foam cakes decorated to look like the rest of your cake) on the bottom of you wedding cake to give it an even more impressive presentation.

We charge 50.00 for all deliveries within a 10 mile radius of The Turtle Bread Company, and 75.00 beyond that.
